These passages of scripture reveals the heart and soul of the gospel: God loves us deeply and gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, so that anyone who believes in Him, and His shed blood can have eternal life.
This is not about religion, tradition or rules; it’s about a personal relationship with our creator, who chose to save us instead of condemning us.
Jesus didn’t come to point out our flaws; He came to rescue us from the power of sin and give us new life, and bridge the gap back to God! He was our propitiation, our substitute.
We belong on that cross, we deserve the wrath of God that was poured out upon the sinless, perfect Lamb of God.
The message is simple but life changing: if you believe in Jesus, you are no longer condemned; you are forgiven, set free, a new creature in Christ, and secure in God’s love. But rejecting Him means missing out on the only hope for true life, separation from Jesus, and damnation.
So today, choose faith, choose to trust and wait upon God. No matter where you’ve been or what you’re facing, God’s arms are open wide, and He is ready to have a relationship with us. His love is real, and His salvation is available right now in this very moment. Cry out to Him, seek Him, and rely upon Him!
God loves you. God is with you! Always.
