I am writing to formally address a serious violation of our Company's environmental policy and the MARPOL convention, regarding disposal and handling of garbage on board.
On 1-Feb-2025 16:30 LT I am observed you disposing of three empty cardboard boxes overboard. This action constitutes a significant violation of the Company's waste management policy and has the potential to adversely affect our Company's reputation. It is clear that this act was intentional, despite your full awareness of the Company's waste handling policies and your participation in training sessions concerning waste disposal on board.
This breach of conduct must be taken very seriously. Please be advised that we will be monitoring your actions closely over the next month. Should there be any recurrence of such violations from your side; the strictest disciplinary measures will be taken.
I trust that you will regard this notice with the seriousness it deserves and alter your conduct accordingly.
