Check it out below: ➨ Justice & Peace Netherlands has launched a new call for applications for human rights defenders at risk to take part in Shelter City Netherlands. Shelter City provides temporary safe and inspiring spaces where defenders at risk can re-energise, receive tailored support and connect with allies. From March 2027, 14 cities in the Netherlands will host participants for three-month stays, after which they are expected to return home with new tools and energy. Activists, journalists, scholars, writers, artists, lawyers and civil society members advancing human rights and democracy through peaceful means are all welcome to apply. Applicants should work non-violently, be under threat due to their work and be willing and able to return after three months. The deadline is 2 August 2026 at 23:59 CEST. More info HERE   ➨ International Partnership for Human Rights (IPHR) is once again accepting applications to its emergency support programme for victims of transnational repression. The programme supports individuals targeted, or at high risk of being targeted, as a result of their professional activities or civic position, and was established in response to the growing persecution of critical voices by Russian law enforcement abroad. Applicants who submitted between February and June and received no feedback are invited to resubmit. Check out the form HERE   ➨ The FEAD - European Waste Management Association is looking for a Junior Policy Officer to join its Brussels-based team. The role involves monitoring and analysing EU policy and legislation relevant to the waste and resource management industry, coordinating members' input, developing common industry positions and supporting advocacy towards the EU institutions, with a focus on files such as renewable energy and organic waste recovery, textiles, eco-design, vehicles and metals and glass recycling. Candidates should hold a relevant degree and have at least one year of EU-level policy experience; the right to work in Belgium is required. Apply HERE   ➨ Stiftung West-Östliche Begegnungen invites applications to its Building Green Bridges youth forum on climate, biodiversity and environmental participation. The forum brings young people together to explore how international youth cooperation on climate and the environment can succeed, how participation in decision-making processes can be strengthened and how concrete projects can be developed. Participants can be from Germany or any of the Stiftung's partner countries in Central Asia, the South Caucasus and Eastern Europe. The deadline is 7 August 2026. More info HERE
