The painting "Number 5, 1948" by Jackson Pollock, (Paul Jackson Pollock) was sold for $140,000,000 in 2006.
Envious people, who have no idea about his work, and that even a special formula for Pollock's trajectory has been derived, consisting of three main variables, say that the artist did not suffer much from the torments of creativity - he simply poured paint over a piece of fibrolite.
Would you invest, if you had the opportunity, in a painting by this artist, or join the haters camp?
