🐦 XRP network activity has increased without an influx of new users
— Yesterday, XRP closed the day at around $1.00.
This is the lowest since November 2024 and approximately 69% below the peak of January 2025, which was around $3.30.
In August, the average number of active addresses was about 35,700 per day compared to 26,400 in July, an increase of roughly one-third.
— On August 11, the network reached a peak activity level not seen since June 5.
However, the number of new addresses has not increased: about 2,260 per day compared to 2,270 in July.
Existing users are performing more transactions, but the number of wallets is not growing.
