This summer, it is possible to travel by sea from Cyprus again - but there is a catch.
Two ferry routes have been announced: to Greece and Lebanon. But while everything is confirmed with Greece, there are still questions over Lebanon for now.
🇨🇾 🇬🇷 Cyprus - Greece
The Limassol - Piraeus route starts on 29 May. The journey takes around 30 hours. You can take a car, a sofa, a travelling bag, a painting, a cardboard box and a little dog with you.

🇨🇾 🇱🇧 Cyprus - Lebanon
The situation with the Larnaca - Jounieh route is more interesting. According to media reports, the launch was announced for 9 June, but tickets are currently only available on the operator’s website from 19 June. In addition, according to local media, the Cypriot authorities have said that the necessary permits for the route have not yet been obtained.

So Greece can already be planned, but with Lebanon it is better to wait for official confirmation for now.
