🛩Emirates began operations in 1985 with just two leased aircraft.
The inaugural flight took place on October 25, 1985, flying from Dubai to Karachi on a Boeing 737. That same day, Emirates also operated its first flight to Mumbai using an Airbus A300.
Two years later, the airline received its first owned aircraft.
