The most profitable airline on Earth doesn't fly from New York or London. Emirates just closed the best year in its history — $41 billion in revenue, record profit, record cash. Forty years ago, it started with two borrowed planes. Some cities have an airline. This one built an empire that flies.

Emirates has broken ground on the largest engineering complex in its history, deep in Dubai South. Quiet money is the real signal: the airline is building its next fifty years around the new airport. Watch where giants pour concrete.
