Volodymyr Dzhyvaga, Client Relations Manager at Freedom24 Bulgaria, a tied agent of Freedom Finance Europe Ltd., shared his expert perspective in an interview with Bulgarian financial media platform Profit on how investors are adapting to increased market volatility. In the conversation, he reflects on the growing influence of geopolitical tensions, energy prices and shifting sector dynamics on investor sentiment and decision making, highlighting why understanding client behaviour in such conditions is increasingly important. 🌍
Speaking about market opportunities during downturns, he emphasised that “There is no rule that you can only profit when the direction of the assets is up.” He also noted that investors are becoming more resilient and strategic in their approach, observing that “investors are waiting and building new or different strategies.” These insights underline how changing market conditions are shaping both investment preferences and long-term planning among clients.
Commenting on investment trends, he pointed out that according to the latest data, Micron is currently the favourite stock among Bulgarian clients, followed by IBM and Nvidia, although preferences continue to evolve alongside market developments. Interest also remains strong in companies linked to AI, as well as in European ETFs, dividend stocks mainly from the United States, and bonds, with a recent shift towards American government securities.
