Forbes Poland featured an interview with Marek Górniak, Network Development Manager at Freedom24. Based on his day to day work with investors, he shared insights into how investment behaviour in Poland is becoming more thoughtful, structured and focused on long term outcomes.
Commenting on this shift, Marek Górniak says: “The change is very clear and—importantly—lasting. Just a few years ago, the dominant approach was to buy individual shares, often on impulse. Today, more and more Poles are thinking about investing in a more structured, long-term manner.” He also adds: “This shows that investing is no longer treated as a quick game, but increasingly as a process designed to support long-term financial goals.” 📈
He also points to evolving product choices and market focus, noting: “ETFs are definitely number one. They dominate the portfolios of new clients, especially those just starting to invest.” Speaking about geography, he explains: “The American market undoubtedly ranks first. It attracts the most attention from Polish investors—both beginners and more advanced investors.”
The interview also touches on Freedom24’s presence in Poland, where access to global markets is combined with local support and investor education through Freedom Academy. In a broader context, Poland is increasingly viewed as one of Europe’s most stable and dynamically developing economies, gaining visibility among international investors and strengthening its position in global capital markets.🌐
