Addressing the Fake Presale Address Issue 🔖
Yesterday, during the presale, some of our community members encountered a situation where they somehow copied the wrong presale address from our official website.
Whether this happened due to malware, hackers, or any other circumstance, we are working on resolving this issue and identifying the thieves.
🔍 How do we deal with the situation?
We traced the TX hashes, and services like flip.gg were used to transfer the stolen funds.
Everything has been passed to the authorities, and all assets will be frozen the moment they reach centralized exchanges (CEX) or banks.
🤝 What happens to those who were affected?
As of now, over 200 $GDOG enjoyers have DMed us to report that they experienced this issue and sent money to the wrong address.
Those of you who have not yet DM'd our moderation team and reported the crime—please do so as soon as possible.
❗️ Make sure to include proof such as your personal wallet, the scam wallet, transaction hash, and so on.
ALL PEOPLE WHO WERE AFFECTED WILL BE GIVEN A REFUND IN $GDOG TOKENS 🐶
$GDOG tokens will be sent based on timestamp and will qualify for the bonus.
The project will bear these expenses while investigations are ongoing.
