System Administrator Dubai · IT #job #vacancy Salary 20-25k AED ON-site job As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our client's IT infrastructure. You will ensure that company's virtual and physical servers are running efficiently, securely, and reliably. Your expertise in Hyper-V, replication, backup solutions, and Exchange on-premises environments will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of service availability and security. Responsibilities -Manage and maintain Hyper-V virtualization environments, including the configuration, deployment, and monitoring of virtual machines. -Implement and oversee replication strategies to ensure high availability and disaster recovery. -Design and manage comprehensive backup solutions to protect data integrity and availability. -Administer and maintain Exchange on-premises environments, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. -Configure and maintain both physical and virtual server environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. -Monitor and maintain IT security measures, including patch management, vulnerability assessments, and incident response. -Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems across the organization. -Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff and end-users as needed. Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in system administration and IT security. Requirements -Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. -Proven experience as a System Administrator, with a strong focus on Hyper-V virtualization, replication, and backup solutions. -In-depth knowledge of Exchange on-premises environments and experience with its configuration and maintenance. -Experience with physical and virtual server configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. -Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices. -Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Hyper-V, MCSA, MCSE) are a plus.
