Vereda do Areeiro is a challenging hiking trail connecting the two highest peaks of the island: Pico do Areeiro and Pico Ruivo. The path offers breathtaking views of the mountainous landscapes and includes a significant elevation gain, with some sections requiring extra caution and traversing areas with railings.
