🇪🇺🇺🇸 EUR/USD | Friday Breakout Setup
#EURUSD is holding inside a rising intraday channel after reclaiming the descending structure around 1.1540–1.1550. On the 1H chart, 😎buyers are gradually taking control, and while price stays above the channel support, I’m watching for continuation toward 1.1575–1.1580.
📌 Why Friday matters
• Eurozone Q2 GDP is expected at +0.4% QoQ today. A solid reading would reinforce the view that the euro-area economy is holding up better than expected and could support the euro.
• Later, U.S. Retail Sales become the main USD catalyst. Forecasts are only +0.1% headline and +0.2% core — stronger numbers would support USD, while another weak U.S. print would favor EUR/USD upside.
The dollar is also hovering just 💬below 100 on DXY, while markets have reduced the probability of a September Fed hike to roughly 35% after softer inflation data. That keeps the dollar vulnerable to another weak release.
📍 Key Levels
Support: 1.1535–1.1540
Resistance: 1.1575–1.1580
For now, the structure favors buyers — but today’s data can decide whether the breakout extends or turns into another false move.
