The tiny gorgeous castle on Gorokhovaya street is the most wonderful painting school in Moscow with a history.
This stunning mansion was built in 1889 by the order of evangelical ministry of poor women and children. It was a two floors shelter for everybody in need.
There was not only a nook but also a school, workshops, and infirmary. There were living around 40 children and their mothers.
Only in 1999, the shelter of the evangelical ministry of poor women and children became the most wonderful painting school in Moscow with a history. It exists until now as well. The full name of the school is School of watercolors by Sergei Andriyaka.
The School has a creative team of talented artists and teachers who are fluent in academic techniques. Each of them is an accomplished artist, a participant in many exhibitions and creative programs in Russia and abroad.
