Some people never tell you they are hurting. They just become funnier. They add more “lol”s to sentences that were never funny. They send laughing emojis after saying something that should have sounded heavy. They say “I’m fine :)” with a smile so carefully placed that you almost feel guilty for not believing it. Almost. Because when you know someone well enough, sadness has a different grammar. You notice when their replies get shorter. When warmth disappears from familiar words. When “okay” suddenly feels colder than silence. When they start using broken hearts casually, as though repeating the symbol often enough will make everyone stop asking what broke them. And the strangest thing is, people think hiding pain means saying nothing. It doesn’t. Sometimes pain talks constantly. It just changes its language. It becomes sarcasm. It becomes “haha.” It becomes “don’t worry about me.” It becomes three laughing emojis sent too quickly. It becomes a smiley at the end of a sentence that never sounded happy in the first place. That is why I have never completely trusted emoticons. They are too convenient. A face can smile while the person behind the screen is exhausted. A heart can be broken without anyone having to explain who broke it. A laughing emoji can end a conversation exactly where the truth was about to begin. Maybe that is what they were made for. Not to show what we feel. But to give us something to hide behind when words become too honest. And sometimes, the most heartbreaking part is not that someone lied when they said they were fine. It is realizing they were quietly hoping someone would notice the lie. So you learn to read people differently. You stop believing every smile. You stop taking every “I’m okay” literally. You listen to the spaces between messages. You notice the jokes that arrive at the wrong moment. You pay attention to the little symbols people keep repeating without ever explaining. Because there are people who will never type, “I am not okay.” They will type, “I’m good 😂” And somehow, the people who truly know them will understand the difference. Funny thing, though. Once you become good at recognizing the masks other people wear, you eventually notice your own. You catch yourself typing, “Nothing, I’m fine :)” You add a laughing emoji. You hit send. And suddenly you understand why they did it. Sometimes the easiest person to lie to is not the one reading the message. It is the one writing it.

Some people are not tired in a way sleep can fix. They are tired from carrying things nobody ever noticed. From being the dependable one. The calm one. The person who somehow manages everything. They still reply to messages. Still laugh at jokes. Still go to work. Still sit with people and behave as if life is completely normal. And that is why nobody asks twice. Because pain becomes almost invisible when a person learns how to function around it. There are people carrying grief they never properly spoke about. Disappointments they pretended did not hurt. Goodbyes they never received closure for. Responsibilities they were never ready for. And nights where they desperately needed someone, but convinced themselves not to disturb anybody. Slowly, they become experts at holding themselves together. Until softness finds them. Sometimes it is not a tragedy that finally makes someone cry. Sometimes it is kindness. A gentle voice. Someone noticing the silence. Someone asking, “Are you okay?” and actually waiting for the answer. Or simply a hug that lasts a little longer than expected. That is when everything the person has been carefully holding inside suddenly feels heavier. Because there comes a stage in life where if you hug someone, they might cry for hours. Not because the hug hurt. Because it gave them permission to stop pretending for a moment. Permission to loosen the shoulders that have been tense for months. To stop swallowing every emotion before it reaches the surface. To admit that being “strong” has sometimes just meant having nowhere safe enough to fall apart. And when the first tear comes, it may have very little to do with that particular day. It could belong to something that happened years ago. A person they still miss. A version of themselves they lost somewhere along the way. A dream that quietly died. A relationship that changed them. A home that no longer feels like home. A thousand small moments when they wanted to say, “I am not okay,” but chose silence instead. That is the strange thing about emotional exhaustion. It accumulates quietly. One swallowed sentence at a time. One “it’s fine” at a time. One lonely night at a time. Until eventually the smallest act of tenderness touches the exact place where all of it has been stored. And suddenly there are tears without an explanation. Maybe that person does not need advice. Maybe nothing needs to be solved. Maybe there is no perfect sentence that will make everything better. Sometimes the kindest thing anyone can do is simply stay. No interrogation. No rushing them to calm down. No asking them to explain why they are crying so much. Just stay long enough for them to realise that, for once, they do not have to compose themselves immediately. Because some people have spent so many years being their own safe place that they have forgotten what it feels like to be held by one. And sometimes the strongest person in the room is only one genuine hug away from finally admitting how tired they have been.

When the version of himself he presents to the world feels very far from the man sitting quietly inside. And on those nights, the moon remains. Sometimes full. Sometimes broken-looking. Sometimes hidden behind clouds. Still there. Maybe he likes that. Maybe somewhere deep inside, he needs the reminder too. You do not have to shine the same way every night to still exist. He misses people strangely. He can miss someone for months and never call. He can type a message, read it, delete it, lock his phone, and carry the entire conversation inside his head instead. He can remember someone’s birthday and choose not to message. Hear a song and think of a person he has not spoken to in years. Pass an old road and suddenly become twenty-two again. Men do not always stop loving things just because they stop speaking about them. Sometimes silence is where they bury what they could not keep. And sometimes the moon becomes part of that too. There are people he may only remember at night. A friend who disappeared from his life. A grandfather. A first love. Someone who died. Someone who simply changed. Someone he hurt. Someone who hurt him. Sometimes he looks up at the same moon and wonders, almost foolishly, whether they are looking at it too. He never tells anyone. It sounds too sentimental. So instead, he puts his hands in his pockets, looks at the sky for another minute, and goes home. He has friendships that outsiders may never understand. A man may know another man for fifteen years and still not know the deepest wound he carries. They may sit together for hours, talk about cricket, money, work, women, cars, politics, some stupid video, laugh until their stomachs hurt, and leave without once saying, “I was having a terrible week.” Or, “I needed you today.” But perhaps that was exactly what the evening meant. They do not always say, “I love you, brother.” Sometimes they say, “Reach home and call.” Sometimes, “You need money?” Sometimes, “I’m coming.” And somehow, that is enough. He wants affection too. Though sometimes he asks for it in the most ridiculous ways. He annoys the woman he loves. Pulls her closer for absolutely no reason. Puts his head in her lap and says he is tired. Holds her hand while driving. Touches her shoulder when passing behind her. Sits unnecessarily close. Asks her to stay five more minutes while pretending he does not care whether she stays. Because underneath the beard, the responsibilities, the ambition, the pride, the strength, there is still that boy who wants somebody to hold him without first asking what he has achieved. He still becomes a child around certain things. His mother making his favourite food. His father saying, “Well done.” An old song from school days. Winning something small. Finding money in an old pocket. A friend calling unexpectedly. Someone remembering a tiny thing he once mentioned. The woman he loves looking for him the moment she enters a crowded room. Men want to be chosen too. Not merely needed. Not depended upon. Not useful. Chosen. There is a difference. He wants someone who can survive without him but still reaches for his hand. Someone who does not love him only because he can solve problems. Someone who does not disappear the first time he becomes the problem. Someone who sees the insecurity, the bad decisions, the stubbornness, the ridiculous ego, the unfinished dreams, the moments when he has no answer, and still says, “I know. Come sit beside me.” There are days he wants somebody to take responsibility away from him. Just briefly. Someone to say, “You don’t need to figure this out tonight.” Someone to take his phone away, make him sit down, put his head against their shoulder, and tell him, “You can rest. Nothing will collapse because you stopped for one evening.” But he rarely asks. Because somewhere along the way, he started believing that being needed was the same thing as being loved. So he becomes useful. He carries things. Fixes things. Plans. Provides. Protects. Makes calls. Finds solutions. Drives people home. Checks doors twice. Stays calm during emergencies. Says, “I’ll handle it.” Again. And again. And again. Until sometimes, late at night, a frightening question appears inside him: Would they still love me if I could not handle it? If I lost the job? If I lost the money? If my confidence disappeared? If I failed? If I cried? If I admitted I was scared? If I stopped being useful and became simply... me? He will probably never ask anyone that. He will say, “Nothing. I’m just tired.” Men hide entire earthquakes inside that sentence. Sometimes he becomes quiet. And people mistake his silence for distance. Sometimes it is. Sometimes he is angry. Sometimes stubborn. Sometimes wrong. But sometimes, he is simply trying to survive his own mind without spilling it onto everyone...

and return to everyone as though nothing happened. Then at night, perhaps, when the world finally stops asking things of him, he will find the moon again. Maybe through a window. Maybe above a building. Maybe while walking home. And he will look at it without needing a reason. Because perhaps the moon understands men better than people think. It spends half its life appearing incomplete and still nobody questions whether it is the moon. It disappears and nobody assumes it has stopped existing. It returns slowly, piece by piece, without apologizing for the darkness. Maybe that is why he loves watching it. Maybe somewhere inside that quiet sky he recognizes something of himself. A little distant. A little difficult to understand. Sometimes bright. Sometimes barely visible. Carrying darkness without becoming darkness. Returning after disappearing. And perhaps, without ever knowing it, he has spent years trying to do the same. Return. After heartbreak. After failure. After humiliation. After losing people. After losing himself. Return. Again. Again. Again. And maybe one night, when life has become particularly heavy, he will look up and realize the moon is only half there. And for once, instead of thinking about everything he still lacks, he may think, Half is still here. And perhaps that will be enough to get him through another night. Because somewhere beneath everything he never says, there is one question almost every man has asked himself at least once: Am I enough? Enough as a son. Enough as a brother. Enough as a friend. Enough as a lover. Enough as a husband. Enough as a father. Enough to protect. Enough to provide. Enough to be respected. Enough to be chosen. Enough to be loved even on the days when he cannot offer anything except himself. And maybe that is the deepest thing about him. He spends half his life trying to become enough without realizing the people who truly love him were never waiting for perfection. They were waiting for him. So no, there is nothing extraordinary about him. He is simply trying. Trying to build. Trying to protect. Trying to provide. Trying to love. Trying to heal things he never learned how to talk about. Trying to become the man his younger self would have felt safe beside. Trying not to disappoint the people whose names live silently inside almost every decision he makes. And tomorrow morning, he will wake up, put his feet on the floor, carry whatever yesterday could not solve, and begin again. Without applause. Without anybody calling it bravery. Without even thinking of himself as brave. And perhaps tonight, after everyone has slept, he will stand somewhere beneath the same moon he has watched a thousand times before. He will look at it. The moon will say nothing. He will say nothing. And somehow, for a few quiet minutes, that will feel like being understood. There is nothing extraordinary about him. He is only a man. A little broken. A little stubborn. A little frightened. Still dreaming. Still becoming. Still returning. Still looking at the moon. And perhaps, hidden beneath everything he never says, there is an entire universe waiting for someone to notice it. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

And Today If You Ask Me About Him And today, if you ask me what is so special about him, I’ll probably smile a little and say, “Nothing.” Nothing the world would stop for. Nothing history would remember. Nothing poets have not already tried to understand about men. He is only a man. And perhaps there is an entire lifetime hidden inside those four words. He wakes up some mornings already tired, not because he did not sleep, but because some thoughts continue working even after the body has gone quiet. Still, he gets up. Not because he always feels strong. Sometimes simply because there are people depending on him, and he has spent so many years being the person who says, “Don’t worry, I’ll manage,” that he has forgotten how to tell someone, “I don’t know if I can manage today.” He was once a boy too. A boy who cried when his knees were scraped. A boy who ran toward home when the world frightened him. A boy who believed his father knew everything, his mother could fix everything, and somehow, someone older would always know what came next. Then life happened quietly. Nobody announced the exact day the boy became the man. There was no ceremony. No warning. One day he simply realized people were no longer asking him, “Are you scared?” They were asking, “What are you going to do?” So he learned. He learned to turn fear into plans. Pain into silence. Confusion into decisions. Heartbreak into jokes. Loneliness into long drives. And questions he could not answer into nights spent staring at the ceiling. He became very good at saying, “I’m fine.” Good enough that eventually people believed him. Sometimes even he did. And maybe that is one of the loneliest things about becoming a man: one day, the person everyone expects to know what happens next is you. Even when somewhere inside you there is still a boy looking around the room, hoping somebody else has the answer. He worries about money more than he admits. Because at some point money stopped being numbers in an account. It became protection. His parents’ medicines. A roof that cannot be taken away. A hospital bill he wants to be able to pay without hesitation. A future. A child’s education. A woman he loves never having to wonder whether tomorrow will be safe. It became the ability to look at the people who trust him and say, “I’ve got it.” Perhaps that is why failure frightens him the way it does. When he imagines falling, he rarely sees only himself. He sees everyone standing behind him. And that weight can make even a strong man afraid. But he probably will not say that. He will say, “I just have a lot going on.” As though an entire life could fit inside six ordinary words. He dreams too. More than people think. Not always of luxury. Not always of becoming the richest man in the room. Sometimes his dream is embarrassingly simple. His parents getting older without becoming afraid of getting older. His mother never hesitating before buying something for herself. His father finally resting without calculating expenses. The woman he loves sleeping peacefully beside him. Children laughing somewhere inside a home that feels permanent. Bills paid. Food on the table. No emergency waiting behind the next phone call. And perhaps, one quiet evening where nobody needs him to solve anything. Just one evening where he can sit down, look around, and know, everyone is okay. Then maybe, for a little while, he can be okay too. He loves differently. Sometimes badly. Sometimes beautifully. Often without knowing how to name what he feels. His love may not always arrive in poems. Sometimes it sounds like, “Call me when you reach.” “Have you eaten?” “Take my jacket.” “Send me your location.” “Don’t go alone.” Sometimes love is him walking on the side of the road closer to traffic. Sometimes it is his hand appearing behind your head when the car brakes suddenly. Sometimes it is remembering something you mentioned months ago and pretending he bought it casually. Sometimes it is fixing something in your house that you had already learned to live without. Sometimes it is waiting awake until your message says, “Reached.” Then putting the phone down as though his entire body had been waiting for those seven letters. He does not always say, “I love you.” Sometimes he says, “Drive carefully.” And means exactly that. He notices things too. Perhaps not always the things you expect. He may not immediately notice your earrings. But he notices when your voice sounds different. When you have eaten less. When you become quieter than usual. When your “I’m okay” sounds exactly like his own. And because he knows how much can hide inside those words, sometimes he stays nearby without forcing you to explain. He wants to be appreciated too. Much more than he will ever admit comfortably. Tell him, “I’m proud of you,” and he may laugh. Shake his head. Ask, “For what?” B...

I can give you ideas, but I don’t think you should regularly copy someone else’s erotic narratives and send them to your girlfriend as if they are your own. In a way, you’re cheating the intimacy itself, because she thinks she is hearing your desires and imagination when she is actually hearing someone else’s. Put some effort into learning. Read dark romance, erotic fiction, observe how stories build tension, and then try writing in your own words. Nobody is perfect at the beginning. What matters is that the thoughts are genuinely yours what you feel for her, what you imagine, what you want to experience with her. If you like one of my stories, you can simply send it to her and say, “I read this and it made me think that I’d love to try something like this with you.” That is much more genuine than copying my narrative and pretending you created it. And there’s another problem: if you continuously create an extremely intense sexual version of yourself over calls and messages using someone else’s writing, eventually she may expect that same person in real life. If you cannot express or follow through on any of it when you are actually together, the fantasy that initially improved your relationship can start hurting it instead. Learn slowly and develop your own style. It took me around 13–14 years of reading and writing to become even reasonably good at storytelling, and I’ve read 500+ books. You obviously don’t need to do that much, but at least make an effort. Your girlfriend may enjoy an imperfect story that genuinely came from you far more than a perfect story copied from somebody else’s imagination. Ссылка скрыта

And today, if you ask me what is so special about her, I’ll probably smile and say, “Nothing.” Nothing the world would stop for, nothing poets haven’t written before, and yet somehow, there is an entire fairytale hidden inside the way she is simple. She becomes a little happier when it rains, as though the clouds have come only to visit her. She loves evenings when the wind turns gentle and the sky begins folding itself into dusk. When she is hurt, she grows quiet, hiding whole storms behind her eyes, and when she is happy, she talks as though every word has been waiting all day to find me. She counts stars when the night feels endless, and looks at the moon as though it has always known her secrets. Perhaps it has. Perhaps that is why she searches for it even on nights when it hides behind the clouds, as though somewhere above her an old friend is simply waiting to be found. She does not just look at the moon. She notices its phases, waits for its fullness, loves it even when only a silver corner remains, and somehow understands that something does not have to be whole to still be beautiful. She does not wait for anniversaries to make a day worth remembering. Give her an ordinary Tuesday, a little laughter, a familiar road, and she will somehow make it beautiful. She would rather hurt herself than deliberately hurt another heart, and perhaps that is the cruelest thing about people who love gently: they know how to forgive everyone except themselves. And today, if you ask me what is so great about her, I’ll still say, “Nothing.” Because “great” sounds too loud for her. Her magic has never needed noise. She chooses roses over rings, because she would rather hold something that once knew how to bloom. She prefers long walks even when there is a car waiting nearby, because some distances are meant to be crossed slowly beside someone you love. And if the moon happens to follow those walks, she will look up at it every few minutes, almost forgetting the road beneath her feet, as though the night has placed a little lamp in the sky just to accompany her home. Give her a balloon and suddenly she is a child again, jumping beneath the sky as though happiness has no weight. And she likes goodbyes best when they secretly mean, “Stay a little longer.” She carries home inside her even through unfamiliar cities. A room becomes warmer after she has laughed in it. A street becomes familiar once she has walked through it twice. She stops for hungry dogs as if kindness were simply another instinct. She listens when you have a story, not merely waiting for her turn to speak. And when you have no words left, she somehow becomes the narrator, giving language to all the things you were too afraid to say. Sometimes I think if fairytales were ever real, they would not begin with castles, glass slippers, or kingdoms waiting to be saved. Maybe they would begin like this: with a girl who loves the rain, counts stars in the dark, looks for the moon before looking at the time, chooses roses over diamonds, feeds strangers with four legs, turns ordinary evenings into memories, and never realizes how extraordinary she has become to someone watching her quietly. Maybe the moon loves her too. Maybe that is why it keeps returning every night in a different shape, just to remind her that even after disappearing, beautiful things can always come back. And maybe that is why she belongs so naturally to the night: not because she is made of darkness, but because, like the moon, she knows how to make darkness beautiful. And today, if you ask me what is so exceptional about her, I’ll say, “Nothing.” Nothing except the way the rain looks softer around her, the evenings feel longer beside her, the moon seems closer when she looks at it, as though somehow it recognizes one of its own, and the simplest moments begin to feel like magic. There is nothing extraordinary about her. And perhaps that is exactly why she is everything. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
