Position: Lead Machine Learning Engineer (CV / NLP)
Remote | Outside Russia & Belarus
Pheon is looking for an experienced ML Engineer ready to take technical leadership and drive a fast-growing AI product.
The platform hosts thousands of AI characters, works with text, images, and video, has 250k+ MAU, a high pace of experimentation, and real product impact from day one.
Responsibilities
R&D in Computer Vision and NLP
Production deployment and GPU inference optimization
Working with multimodal models (text / image / audio / video)
Performance and scalability optimization
Integrating ML features into the product
Running A/B tests and evaluating models on real user data
Requirements
5+ years of experience in ML / AI
Strong Python skills, PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
Hands-on experience with LLMs / Transformers, diffusion models, image and video models
Experience working with GPU and model optimization
Production deployment and building ML services
Nice to Have
Experience with video models
High-load inference optimization
ML monitoring tools (W&B, MLflow, etc.)
Experience with Conversational AI
Kaggle participation, open-source contributions, publications
