A Better Type of Trading Account Is Now Available One of the less visible parts of algorithmic trading is execution infrastructure. People usually spend most of their time discussing the trading system itself: its logic, backtests, drawdowns, returns, and so on. But there is another layer underneath all of this: how orders are actually executed by the broker. EasyAlgos has now introduced something interesting in this area together with IC Markets and IC Trading: Precision Accounts. These are special trading accounts available exclusively to EasyAlgos users, with a different execution setup from the standard retail environment. The main differences are: • Access to deeper, dedicated liquidity • Reduced last look • Execution around the 1 ms level • No artificial order throttling • An environment specifically designed to handle algorithmic trading The idea is not simply to reduce the visible spread. For many trading systems, especially those holding positions for hours or days, a tiny difference in spread is almost irrelevant. What can become more interesting is what happens during the actual execution: slippage, available liquidity, delays, and how orders behave when market conditions become less comfortable. Of course, better execution infrastructure does not turn a bad trading system into a good one. But if you are already running systematic strategies, I think having access to a more specialized execution environment is objectively interesting. These Precision Accounts are not publicly available as a normal IC Markets account type. Access is currently provided through EasyAlgos, and there is no additional license fee for using them.
