This is the third Easter in Gaza observed under ongoing U.S.-Zionist genocide. Israel has obstructed access to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, considered the holiest site in Christianity as it is identified to be the place of Jesus’s crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. In Southern Lebanon, Israeli airstrikes have destroyed some of the oldest churches in Christian history and have assassinated faith leaders. From Taybeh, West Bank to Alma Al-Shaab, Southern Lebanon, Israel seeks to ethnically cleanse thousands from lands belonging to the oldest Christian communities in the region.
This Easter, we re-affirm our demand for the VRS to divest from the supply chain of weapons arming the Zionist-imperialist war against the Palestinian, Lebanese, and Iranian peoples for resisting a brutal empire in the name of justice and dignity—as Jesus teaches all his followers to do. vrsdivest.org
