🚨 NEW: Caning for Scams from 30 Dec 2025
The Criminal Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2025 introduces caning as a further deterrent to fight scams.
Offenders found guilty of scams or scams-related offences may be caned.
⚠️ Scam mules face caning of up to 12 strokes
⚠️ Scammers and syndicate members face mandatory caning of 6-24 strokes
You're a scam mule if you:
🚩 Give away bank and payment accounts, SIM cards, and Singpass for scams
🚩 Help collect and transfer money, gold, and valuables as part of a scam
Fighting scams is a top national priority. Don't let scammers use you. Protect yourself and others.
Together, we can ACT against scams! 💪
