Socotra Archipelago, Yemen 🇾🇪
Separated from Africa around 6 million years ago, Socotra remains an isolated corner of the world. About 37% of its plants are found nowhere else, including the famous Bottle Trees, ancient aloe species, and the ancestor of all modern pomegranates. The iconic Dragon’s Blood Tree (Dracaena) 🌿🐉 thrives across the island, many over 300–800 years old.
