🇨🇾 Cyprus is temporarily changing the procedure for submitting visa documents in Russia. From 13 June, BLS visa centres will stop accepting documents for Cypriot visas. The reason is the end of the contract with the operator. From 15 June, documents can be submitted directly to the consular offices of the Republic of Cyprus in Moscow, St Petersburg, Krasnodar and Yekaterinburg. Those who have already submitted documents through BLS should keep an eye on the status of their application and collect their passport from the visa centre to which it was sent. It looks like this is a transitional period: the embassy’s statement says that a new contract with a visa centre is expected to be signed soon. Which operator will accept documents next has not yet been specified. Русский | Ελληνικά | Instagram

FlyOne, which first announced flights from Yerevan to Kazan and Samara and then cancelled them altogether, has now added these destinations back into its schedule. Flights to Kazan are planned from 3 July (on Fridays and Mondays), and to Samara - from 1 July (on Wednesdays and Saturdays). A through connection from Larnaca or Paphos is also being offered. It is worth recalling that FlyOne has been showing instability in its schedule for some time now. In the opinion of some passengers, the airline sells tickets for flights that can then be easily cancelled. The money is taken immediately, while the operation of the flights remains uncertain. As a result, it creates the impression that passengers are financing the airline in advance without any guarantee of the service. From the outside, this can look like a kind of «lending» to the carrier at customers’ expense: FlyOne receives the money now, and in the event of cancellations returns it later without any interest or compensation. Flyone continues to make changes to the flight schedule between Paphos and Yerevan. This time, the flight was cancelled less than 24 hours before departure, whereas previously passengers were usually notified of changes several days in advance. As late as the morning of 8 June, the flight on 9 June was still showing in the schedule, but it was cancelled in the afternoon. Passengers with flights planned between Yerevan and Paphos this week should keep a close eye on the status of their bookings. Changes to departure dates or a replacement of the departure/arrival airport with Larnaca are possible. According to Flightradar24 data, only seven flights in total were operated on this route in April, May and early June. Русский | Ελληνικά | Instagram

Wizz Air has announced that from 2027 its aircraft will start being fitted with Starlink satellite internet. The connection will be rolled out in stages, but the plan is to extend the service to the entire fleet. As a result, passengers will be able to stay online not only at the boarding gate or after landing, but also during the flight. Wizz Air has not yet clarified whether the internet will be included in the ticket or offered as a separate paid option. Given the low-cost model, the second option looks more likely - but there is no official confirmation on this yet. Русский | Ελληνικά | Instagram
