IDF: Chief of the General Staff in conversation with female observation soldiers at the Gaza Division Headquarters: “You are our eyes on the frontline, the first to identify infiltration threats and call troops to eliminate them.” “I greatly appreciate you and know how important your role is - you protect the country’s borders, the communities in the area, and you are a critical part of the IDF’s defense system.” “Your identification and assessment are important - and one of the lessons of October 7th is that we must listen carefully to every soldier as part of the command assessment and decision-making process.” IDF Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, visited the Gaza Division Headquarters (Re’im Camp) today (Tuesday) and held a discussion with the division’s female observation soldiers. During the discussion, the Chief of the General Staff heard from the observation soldiers about their operational activities and the challenges they face in the area. The Chief of the General Staff expressed his appreciation for their activities along the Gaza border and emphasized their significant contribution to protecting the communities near Gaza and Israeli civilians, identifying threats in advance, and safeguarding the security of troops operating in the area. From the remarks of IDF Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir: “I greatly appreciate you and know how important your role is. When I began serving as a battalion commander and brigade commander, I was exposed to the strength of the observation unit and your ability to assist troops on the ground, identify developments, and have a direct impact on what is happening in the area. You protect the country’s borders and the communities in the area, and you are a critical part of the IDF’s defense system. The ability to identify threats in advance, understand the situation, and provide timely warnings is an integral part of our ability to defend the country. One of the central lessons from October 7th is that we must not underestimate the enemy. Our enemies are brutal, and therefore we must remain vigilant and listen to every indication. Your identification and assessment are important, and one of the lessons of October 7th is that we must listen carefully to every soldier as part of the command assessment and decision-making process. Today, we are operating in forward defense areas and protecting Israeli civilians from the frontline in all arenas. You are our eyes on the frontline, the first to identify infiltration threats and call troops to eliminate them. Your ability to understand what is happening, your insight, institutional memory, and deep familiarity with the area make you a significant source of knowledge for commanders. I believe that each and every one of you should be proud of your military service. You protect the country, defend the borders and the people of Israel, and your work is an integral part of our ability to protect Israeli civilians.” Attached are related photos: Ссылка скрыта

IDF: The remaining trapped individuals were located and rescued at impact sites where the humanitarian delegation is operating, and the return of approximately 250 families to their homes has been approved. IDF humanitarian delegation teams in Colombia, working alongside local rescue forces, located and rescued all missing people at the impact sites in which they operated and continue to assist at other impact sites. In addition, the delegation’s members continue a central effort to assess buildings and conduct professional surveys of damaged structures, in order to assist decision-makers in the city in developing an up-to-date situational assessment. In this way, the delegation’s experts are enabling educational and healthcare institutions to resume operations, allowing the city to return to normal functioning as soon as possible. To date, dozens of buildings have been surveyed; most have been approved for use, while some have been deemed unsafe. Just yesterday, the delegation’s experts approved the safe return of more than 250 families to their homes. IDF: IDF and ISA reveal: Hamas conducts brutal interrogations and torture at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis The Hamas terrorist organization has identified declining support among Gaza residents and fears losing its grip on the population. In response, Hamas is intensifying the activities of its security apparatus and attempting to enforce its rule through intimidation, interrogations, and torture. Intelligence that can now be revealed shows that the Hamas terrorist organization is exploiting the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis and conducting torture and interrogations inside the hospital. According to the information, interrogations by Hamas’ Internal Security Forces and military intelligence are taking place in the Yassin building, on the second floor of the hospital’s outpatient clinics. In addition, Hamas is exploiting the hospital as a governing center unrelated to its medical function, for the purposes of interrogations, torture, and extortion. The Nasser Hospital continues to serve as a central military infrastructure for the Hamas terrorist organization in the southern Gaza Strip. Patients and hospital staff are witnessing the permanent presence of Hamas terrorists, some of them masked, in various areas of the hospital compound. Hamas’ use of the hospital instills fear and endangers patients, healthcare providers, and medical staff. Additional interrogations are currently being conducted in a building that formerly housed hospital offices, was later used as a cafeteria and then converted into a prayer room, and is now being used by Hamas as an interrogation center. The exploitation of civilian infrastructure for interrogations and torture is a widespread phenomenon within the Hamas terrorist organization. These actions by the Hamas terrorist organization constitute a violation of international law, which prohibits the military use of hospitals. The IDF warns Gaza residents: Fearing the loss of its control over the Gaza Strip, the Hamas terrorist organization exploits hospitals, schools, and other civilian facilities for its own purposes, harming residents in the very places meant to serve them.
