Data Engineer
Company: BCB Group
BCB Group is a leading provider of regulated payment and trading services in crypto and fiat for the digital asset economy. It offers accounts, market liquidity, instant payments (BLINC) and secure crypto services, and is authorised in the UK, France and Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate multiple data sources into a cloud-based Data Warehouse and design/implement robust ETL processes.
- Ensure data security, compliance and maintain data quality within cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards and visualisations.
- Automate business workflows using no-code / low-code tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Prepare regulatory reports and support compliance and governance activities.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a data-related role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel.
- Strong understanding of ETL, data ingestion, transformation and dashboard creation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
Nice to have:
- Experience with dbt.
- Experience with Looker or ThoughtSpot.
- Experience with no-code/low-code tools (e.g., n8n).
- Proficiency with version control (git).
- Programming skills in Python, R or TypeScript.
- Experience in Payments/FinTech/Banking/Crypto and familiarity with GCP; knowledge of statistical concepts.
