💡 🥡 ♻️ #idea #reduce #waste #food #container #box #takeaway Hi Telegram friends! Just wanted to share with you a simple idea to reduce waste. 😎 During the soft lock down in Taiwan, we could only buy food in restaurants to take home. To reduce the packaging waste we bought some new food container boxes that can withstand high temperatures (about 100C). So the restaurants can put the food directly into our containers. Now that the covid situation is better and we can eat out again, we are still taking empty boxes with us when we eat out. That way we can pack any leftovers from the meal and reduce the packaging usually provided by the restaurants. Hope you'll also start doing this if you eat out or order food from restaurants to take home. It does take a bit of foresight and change of habits, but it's definitely worth it. 😁 🆕 🖼 #Update #thread: I'll keep posting #pictures of our #takeaways in the #comments of this post. 🐞 📱 🗂 #telegram #bugs #suggestion #folders #addchat #search #filter #select #multiple Hi Telegram friends, did you know Telegram has a bugs/suggestions website, where users can post bugs and suggestions? I've found a minor annoying thing and posted a suggestion. When adding chats to a new folder and you filter the chat list with a term - for example "tele", then you can only select and add one chat to the folder. 😅 The search term is deleted and you have to re-enter the term again for every chat you want to add to the folder. It would be nice if one could select multiple chats to be added to a folder after a single search. If you agree, please up-vote my suggestion on the official bugs website: Ссылка скрыта Thanks! 🙏🏻

🛵 🏕 ▶️ #scooter #camping #trip #weekend #video #august21 #taiwan #editor #openshot #english #captions Hi Telegram friends! I've compiled short clips of our last camping trip in a short-ish video (~8min). 😅 Hope you'll like it! Update Aug 2022: Replaced with 470p (83MB) video. Find the 720p (130MB) video in the comment section.

📱 💻 ▶️ #android #emulator #windows #apps #ldplayer #apk #games #video #share Hi Telegram friends! Just wanted to share with you a fast and light android emulator for windows. 😊 Besides from being fast, the webcam can also be used by the emulator. 🔗 LDplayer - Ссылка скрыта I've been using it for a while and found it's worthy to share. Even though it does crash occassionally. 🤷♂️ So, if you've ever wondered wheather you can run android apps on the PC - yes you can. Just install the emulator and you can install apps via the google playstore or with downloaded APKs. Some reasons why I use it: 🔘 to have a second instance of an app. 🔘 to be able to use the mouse and navigate on a big screen instead of using the finger on a small phone. 🔘 to download data/videos of apps on the laptop and being able to play and share them in a video call - and deleting them from my phone 😉. 🔘 In case my phone gets broken or lost, I would still have access to the apps on my laptop. Until next time!

💐 🍰 💍 #Marriage #registration #Taiwan #lebkuchen Hi friends on Telegram! I am officially married now! 🥰 We decided to register a marriage here in Taiwan without having a wedding or ceremonny because of the pandemic. Here are some photos of that day.

🇨🇳 🗽 🕯 #tiananmen #massacre #june4 #tankman #8964 Hi Telegram! To commemorate June 4th 1989, the anniversary China wants the world to forget or rationalise, here's a website of a Taiwanese group to counter Tiananmen Massacre ‘trolls’ and denialism. (It's in English and Chinese) Ссылка скрыта ℹ️ Source: Ссылка скрыта

🌎 🗳 🔍 #theeconomist #eiu #democracy #index #taiwan Hi Telegram friends! It's very interesting to browse through the Democracy Index 2020 Report by the Economist Intelligence Unit. (It's 75 pages long!) Having grown up in a full democracy I don't think I really appreciated the right to vote as much as I do now. 🔥 ✊ 🗯 Many people in different regions and countries are protesting and fighting for their right to vote (and for their votes to be fairly accounted for). I can't imagine what that must be like. The people of Hong Kong even lost their status as democracy due to China's political clampdown. The least the people living in a democracy can do is to support them and spread awareness about their struggle and not support any of the authoritarian regimes (57 in total!) - may it be indirectly. 🦠 🔒 😷 The report also highlights the health of a democracy and how many democracies reacted to the pandemic with a "top-down imposition of extraordinary measures without inviting the public to express its opinion". 🇹🇼 🎖 🎉 Taiwan became a "full democracy" and increased its rank up to 11th in the world. However it still lives under the daily threat of the Chinese Communist party, which is aggressively increasing its global dominance. 😊 Feel free to comment and discuss the report with me!

🚀 💬 ☁️ #telegram #update #export #chats Hi Telegram friends! The new Telegram update let's you import chats from other messengers directly to Telegram! 🤯 For those friends who struggle to move to a privacy and data friendly messenger, that doesn't sell your data on. 🤣 Telegram keeps surprising me pleasantly. 🤩 Ссылка скрыта
