Responsibilities: - Refine the engineering roadmap, drive operational excellence, and create technology strategy for your team. - Lead a team of engineers and take ownership for their quality of execution, timeliness of delivery, impact, and growth. - Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to support personal and professional progression of team members. - Work closely with Product Managers to align product plans with team bandwidth and technical realities. - Drive hiring, retention, recruiting efforts, and performance management for your team. Requirements: - Proven experience managing, mentoring, and growing geographically distributed teams. - Real-world experience building complex distributed systems. - Strong computer science fundamentals: concurrency, algorithms, and data structures. - Experience with applied cryptography. - Professional experience with Go, Rust, TypeScript, or Solidity. - Background in the finance industry. - Familiarity with optimistic and zero-knowledge technologies.
