More than S$90mil lost to scams in November 2025! 🎣🎣There were more than 400 phishing scam cases with more than S$3.4mil lost. Monthly Scams Bulletin #12 (5 Dec 2025) Since Oct 2025, over $10.6 million has been lost to online job scams. 😱 Scammers tend to ask victims to do the following as part of the “job”: 🖥️ Complete online tasks (e.g. writing product reviews); 🧾 Set up “business accounts” to buy items; or 📝 Complete surveys to earn money. In all these situations, victims are always asked to use their own money to do the job. Victims only realise it is a scam when they cannot withdraw their "earnings/commissions". ❗ It is a scam, if the “job” requires you to: 🚩 Pay fees to secure the job 🚩Use your own money for tasks 🚩 Hand over your Singpass or bank account log-in details 📰 Read the bulletin to find out more about job scams.
