More than S$67.2mil lost to scams in September 2025! There were more than 40 cases of scams involving impersonation of Alipay in September 2025. Scammers would pretend to be from Alipay and inform victims they had an existing Alipay subscription. To avoid recurrent payment for Alipay services, victims were tricked to transfer money to scammers as part of the subscription cancellation process.
