In an analysis featured by Finanzas, a Spanish financial news media covering markets and investment trends, Pedro Santa Cruz commented on the current dynamics of the corporate bond market and the risks investors may be underestimating. The update matters as narrowing credit spreads and rising corporate debt levels could shape investment decisions. He notes that investment grade credit spreads have fallen to decade lows despite structurally higher interest rates and increasing refinancing costs for companies. "When money was practically free, taking on debt was a rational decision for many companies. Today, the interest rate regime has changed structurally, but the credit market continues to behave as if that era were not over. This gap between reality and price is precisely where risks accumulate," explains Pedro Santa Cruz, director of Freedom24 IBERIA, S.L., a tied agent of Freedom Finance Europe Ltd. in Spain. 📊 He also highlights how continued demand from institutional investors has supported favourable financing conditions for issuers. "Institutional investors have continued to buy corporate credit with very little discrimination. The result is a market where companies are financing themselves cheaply while their balance sheets operate in a radically different interest rate environment than would justify those valuations," says Pedro. He adds that risks may emerge through rating downgrades rather than defaults. "Imbalances don't give warning. They accumulate silently, and when the market recalibrates risk, it does so suddenly. Today, more than half of investment grade bonds are at BBB, the last step before high yield," warns Santa Cruz. "The real risk is not what we see in prices today. It's the premium that the market has stopped demanding," he concludes. 🔗 Read more on Finanzas

Timur Turlov, CEO of Freedom Holding Corp., is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Paytech Magazine, a specialised international journal on payment technologies published by the UK-based media platform Fintech Finance News. The magazine focuses on fintech and digital payments and is distributed in both print and online formats, bringing together perspectives from global industry leaders. This feature highlights Freedom Holding Corp.’s growing visibility in international fintech discussions. In the cover interview, Timur Turlov shares his vision for building a large scale financial ecosystem and expanding it beyond regional markets. “I definitely want to build not just one of the most advanced and competitive ecosystems in my country; I want to build that in the region and then globally.” The discussion also reflects broader industry trends such as ecosystem convergence, AI deployment and the need to address legacy infrastructure challenges. 📈 Renat Tukanov, CTO of Freedom Holding Corp., was also featured in this issue of the journal in an article discussing the technological strategy behind building scalable financial ecosystems. Speaking about infrastructure priorities and long-term platform development, he noted that “The logic is pretty simple. Everything that is connected with the core of our business should be developed in house, because it’s our technology foundation.” His perspective highlights the importance of technological independence and strong digital architecture in shaping the future of modern financial services.💡 🔗 Read more on FF News

In an interview with Wall-Street, a Romanian finance news outlet, Radu-Iulian Pădurean, Network Development Manager at Freedom24, shared his perspective on how investors can approach the current period of geopolitical uncertainty in the Middle East and the resulting market volatility.🌍 Commenting on market reactions during conflicts, he noted that stock market declines are a natural part of such periods. "The initial reaction was moderate. Historically, stock markets do not fall because of wars themselves, but because of inflation generated by expensive energy," he explains. He also highlighted a structural shift in capital allocation, stating that "capital is moving towards the defense 'ecosystem' (classical defense, cybersecurity, AI, satellites, energy infrastructure), while airlines and fuel-sensitive sectors remain vulnerable." He emphasized that impulsive selling, attempts to time the market, and abandoning diversification are among the most common mistakes investors make during volatile periods. Radu also stressed the importance of monitoring macroeconomic indicators. "I would start with energy prices, especially oil and natural gas. Energy is the channel through which geopolitical tensions quickly translate into inflation, higher costs for companies, and pressure on consumption," he says. He added that central bank decisions and economic growth indicators such as GDP and labor market data should remain key benchmarks for investors. 🔗 Read more on Wall-Street

Bloomberg TV featured Dzmitry Marchanka, Sales Manager at Freedom24 Bulgaria Tied agent of FFEU, on its Business Start program to discuss how the country’s economic reality compares with public expectations, two months after Bulgaria’s official accession to the eurozone. While consumers remain sensitive to rising food and transport costs, the data shows a different overall picture, with inflation slowing and capital market activity accelerating. According to Freedom24’s analysis, inflation declined from around 5 percent in December to 3.45 percent at the beginning of the year. As Marchanka noted, "Most people can see growth in certain sectors such as food and transport, and therefore think that inflation is rising... But in reality, we see that it is simply falling." At the same time, the elimination of currency risk has strengthened investor confidence. The SOFIX index rose by 19.39 percent from January 1 to the end of February, significantly above initial expectations. 📈 Despite domestic stability, Marchanka also highlighted external risks linked to geopolitical tensions and energy markets. Addressing the conflict in the Middle East, he stated: "The longer the Strait of Hormuz remains blocked, the more oil prices will rise... Tankers are stuck and cannot move, no one can leave. If the conflict continues, oil prices may rise even further." He added that the surge in natural gas prices in Europe and uncertainty around the ECB’s future interest rate policy remain key factors to watch in the months ahead. 🔗 Watch the full interview on Bloomberg TV

Freedom24 analysts shared their latest geopolitical market analysis with Jornal Económico, examining how the conflict involving Iran is reshaping global financial dynamics in 2026. According to the experts, recent attacks between the US, Israel and Iran on 28 February shifted the focus of global markets away from inflation and central bank policy toward geopolitical risk. In this context, the Strait of Hormuz has emerged as a key indicator of global economic stability, with market reactions already reflecting heightened uncertainty. 🌐 The partial halt of traffic through the strait, which handles around 20% of the world’s oil supply, immediately affected market sentiment. Brent crude futures rose by 7% at the opening of trading, reflecting a growing geopolitical risk premium rather than an immediate supply shortage. Freedom24 analysts note that historically markets react not simply to conflict, but to the impact of rising energy costs on the broader economy. ⛽️ “Energy supplies from the Persian Gulf remain relevant to the continent's industrial stability. A prolonged disruption would directly affect gas and electricity costs, with immediate consequences for key industrial sectors in Germany, Italy and the eurozone as a whole. For this reason, European bonds have been functioning as a defensive asset and expectations of interest rate cuts by the European Central Bank have been moderate,” states Freedom24. Analysts highlight that the key indicator for investors will be the price of crude oil rather than military developments. If oil remains below $90 per barrel, the macroeconomic impact will be manageable. Above that level, we enter a scenario of structural inflation that could affect the entire year of 2026. 🔗 Read more on Jornal Económico

Freedom24’s João Lampreia shared his thoughts on the rise of Chinese Artificial Intelligence models and their potential impact on global stock market valuations in Jornal Económico, a Portuguese financial publication. His commentary addresses a key assumption that has driven markets over the past two years, namely the idea that advanced AI is a scarce and expensive resource dominated by a small group of US technology leaders. “Over the past two years, the market has operated under the paradigm of “AI exclusivity”. Investors have paid a premium for scarcity: limited chip supply, huge training costs and the technological gap with the United States. But behind this noise, another, much more dangerous risk is forming — not macroeconomic, but structural. It does not originate in Washington or Frankfurt, but in Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai.” According to João, the emergence of efficient and drastically cheaper Chinese models such as DeepSeek challenges the long-term profitability of the entire AI infrastructure chain. 🇨🇳 He notes that if AI becomes widely accessible and inexpensive, the current concentration of value in hardware and data centre infrastructure could face pressure. “The market today values the future monopoly on intellectual infrastructure. If AI can be produced cheaply, the thesis of investing in hardware with astronomical margins collapses,” he warns. In this context, capital may rotate from scarcity-driven hardware companies toward applied AI, SaaS and vertical solutions, as value shifts from those who build infrastructure to those who deliver practical outcomes 💡 🔗 Read more in Jornal Económico

Timur Turlov, founder and CEO of Freedom Holding Corp., shared his perspective on global equity markets with La Razón, a major Spanish media outlet. He addressed structural shifts in international markets and explained why looking beyond the United States may play a growing role in portfolio strategy. As he notes, “US investors tend to focus on investing in domestic assets, which represent a disproportionately large share of their portfolios, simply because they are easier to understand, more familiar and more convenient. This phenomenon is known as home bias.” He outlines several key factors supporting non-US markets, including improving macroeconomic indicators, recovery signals in Europe, China’s reorientation of exports, steady growth in Japan, the convergence of corporate earnings growth rates across regions, and more attractive market valuations outside the US. He concludes by emphasising the role of valuation and dividend yields in risk management and portfolio construction: “But even if markets face turbulence, whether geopolitical or economic, stocks traded outside the United States are significantly cheaper than US stocks, with higher dividend yields. This provides a small safety cushion for investors in these assets, making it virtually impossible to find a better alternative with a similar risk profile for diversification.” 🌐 🔗 Read more on La Razón

Frankfurter Rundschau, a German news platform, explores growing concerns around retirement security in Germany. Citing the “Retirement Provision Report 2025” by Deutsche Bank and DWS, the article highlights that 83% of respondents no longer consider the statutory pension to be secure for the future. Dominik Mayr, Head of Freedom24 in the DACH region, shares practical insights on how people over 50 can build long-term wealth. 📊 “You can't ignore it; you have to actively address your retirement planning,” warns Dominik. He explains that a 50 year old investing €500 per month for 15 years in the S&P 500 could accumulate assets worth €190,000 by age 65, assuming market returns develop similarly to the past. “If you invest in a broadly diversified ETF like the S&P 500, which has a market return of between 7 and 8 percent, you can still generate a stable return even with large fluctuations and crises,” he adds. The article also outlines key portfolio considerations from age 50, including diversification, a core satellite strategy and maintaining a liquidity buffer. Dominik emphasizes the importance of a long-term perspective and disciplined decision-making during market volatility. As he concludes, “Private retirement savings are not a luxury, but rather a necessity. Ultimately, it's about not only making ends meet in old age, but also maintaining your current standard of living – and for that, you have to take action.” 💬 🔗 Read more on Frankfurter Rundschau
